I recently had a fantastic Thanksgiving stay at a hotel in Addis Ababa. The two complementary facts that stood out to me were the extra blanket provided in my comfortable room and the shuttle service to and from the airport. Located in a prime spot, it was easy to walk to many restaurants, shops, and nightlife options. I was thrilled with the extremely welcoming and kind staff in the breakfast restaurant.

I did experience some noise at night due to the nearby bars and clubs, so I recommend bringing earplugs. the area outside of the hotel can be dodgy at times, so take care with belongings and stay aware of surroundings while walking.
